Hey,
In my status bar there is a invisible icon which I want to remove. If I click on the "icon" there's no menu and I can't figure which program the thing could come from.
I took a screenshot where I click on the icon:
Does someone has an idea how I could remove this "icon"?
I am now on macOS Sierra but it was there before I upgraded too.

Click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen, choose Force Quit which should list all the running applications... you should be able to pick the mysterious application from there. If not, start force quitting them one by one 🙂
Unfortunately this doesn't solved my problem. I closed all apps but the icon was still there.
Bummer.
You could check your login items (System Preferences > Users and groups > Login items for the mysterious app. Remove them one at a time if it's not obvious which it might be.

Magnet (http://magnet.crowdcafe.com/) was adding a second icon which was invisible.
